Alecia Beth Moore (born September 8, 1979 in New York City, New York), better known by her stage name Pink, is an American pop and R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer who is known for her distinctive raspy voice and acrobatic stage presence, and has sold over 90 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists in the world. Her career accolades include three Grammy Awards, two Brit Awards, a Daytime Emmy Award and seven MTV Video Music Awards, including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
